Asia Pacific Privacy Authorities welcome new member Philippines

Victoria, BC, Canada — The Asia Pacific Privacy Authorities (APPA) are pleased to welcome the Philippine’s National Privacy Commission (NPC) as a new member.

The National Privacy Commission is the 20th privacy and data protection authority to join APPA. It will participate as a full member for the first time at the 46th APPA Forum in Mexico on November 30th, December 1st and 2nd.

Formed in 1992, APPA is the principal forum for privacy and data protection authorities in the Asia Pacific region to form partnerships and exchange ideas about privacy regulation, new technologies and the management of privacy enquiries and complaints.
